How does waxing work?
A wax combination is spread thinly over the skin, a cloth strip is pressed on top and then ripped off with a quick movement, effectively removing the wax along with hair and dead skin cells. This process leaves the skin smooth, making waxing a popular grooming option.

The wax can be used on almost any part of the body as needed. Some frequently waxed areas include legs, underarms, bikini line, and eyebrows. For men seeking a more specialized service, we also have options like brazilian wax, chest, back, and ears.
What is a Brazilian Wax?
Brazilian waxing, which includes hair removal around the anus, perineum, and vagina or penis, has become increasingly popular. For some, a Brazilian wax means removing all the hair from the bikini area, while others prefer to leave a strip in the front. This technique has gained traction not only among women but also with men. Many are now seeking out options, making waxing a common choice for those looking for a clean and smooth appearance.
How much does waxing hurt?
As a general guide, the sensation during waxing can feel like being slapped with a plastic ruler, but it fades quickly. Follow-up treatments are gentler than the first, as the hair hasn't had time to fully develop, the experience improves with each session.
Will I have to get on all fours to have a Brazilian?
No. A lot of places still ask clients to get on their hands and knees, but I have no idea why.
What are the possible side effects of waxing and how can they be minimized?
Although I cannot predict or guarantee individual reactions, most clients undergoing waxing procedures do not experience issues beyond minor redness and irritation. During waxing hair may break at the root, leading to some hairs growing out faster. To minimize irritation and potential breakouts, please adhere to the following guidelines:
Avoid sun exposure immediately after waxing and always apply sunscreen; recently waxed areas are susceptible to hyperpigmentation (permanent darkening of the skin) if exposed to sunlight.
Refrain from heavy exercise for at least 24 hours after your waxing session.
Steer clear of saunas, steam rooms, whirlpools, and other heated sources for a minimum of 48 hours.
Do not use exfoliating products (such as AHAs, scrubs, etc.) or loofahs for at least 24 hours after waxing, as these might further irritate your skin.
Avoid tight clothing in the waxed areas post-waxing, as this can lead to irritation and ingrown hairs.
Regular exfoliation is beneficial to remove dead skin, allowing your hairs to grow above the surface of the pores and preventing ingrown hairs.
Consistent waxing helps the skin adapt to the procedure, which may reduce irritation.
Please note that no hot baths, hot showers, or oral sex should occur for 10 hours after a Brazilian wax, as open pores are vulnerable to irritation from extreme temperatures and infection from bacteria.
